Alex Joll Sailing

Alex Joll Sailing

Alex has been sailing since very young. Firstly with his father in a Kestrel dingy, then in his first boat - a British Moth. Racing locally at club level through his youth he started windsurfing at 13 and that became his passion on the water.
Alex graduated to yachts in his late teens skippering from his early 20s. He spent several years living in Tarifa Spain, a windsurf mecca, where he honed his wave sailing skills.
Alex has sailed and raced boats in the UK, USA, Caribbean, Middle East, France, Greece, Turkey and Spain. His last yacht was a long keeled 1976 Albin Vega  which is a very seaworthy sailing yacht, but takes a certain skill to move around marinas or backwards.

Alex has now embarked on full time sailing. This includes yacht deliveries as well as charter work. Bringing years of experience in hospitality to charter yachting Alex ensures a great client experience.
